RJR TOC Tube Opto Compressor

The RJR TOC is the compressor to get that famous classic huge vintage sound.  And with many optional features that make the RJR TOC more versatile than the original, there's no reason to buy a 2A-style compressor from anyone else!

 

The following are a few examples of custom RJR OPTO compressors.  These units have already been built and shipped to the customers that ordered them, and are not available for immediate order.  If you would like to order a custom RJR OPTO compressor, or if you would like to inquire about pricing, available options, or have any other questions, please inquire on the CONTACT page!  Due to the complexities involved in custom orders, please be aware that there is usually a 2-3 month lead time involved. 

Unless otherwise specified by the customer, RJR OPTO comps are hand wired point to point on a turret board from the 1968 LA2A schematic, and utilize metal film resistors, Orange Drop film capacitors, Sowter Transformers, Kenetek T4B, new JJ/Tesla and EH tubes, and a Sprague Atom output capacitor.

 

The RJR OPTO is currently only available as a custom order unit.
